Plumbers please help! What is this leaking?

Well I bought my home 2 months ago, and today I noticed this little drain leaking outside the house where the sink is, is it supposed to leak? What is it? I want to fix it if it needs to be fixed! Thank you so much.

yeah I would say that is a condensate line.

Quick,
Looks like a condensate drain to me too. Only thing I would do is put a drain spout diverter under it to channel the water away from your foundation. Its not a lot but the less water near a foundation, the better

If your A/C was running I would say it's the condensate from your unit as others have said before my post.

Do you have a water softener? This is usually where the used salt is discharged from.

Trace it, - see where you end up. Could be a float activated humidifier drain as well. It's possible, - hope it's not the dishwasher lol.

My ac unit is on the other side of the house, could it still be a condensate line?

Your inside furnace will have a condensate drainage line… follow that and I'll bet you end up right there. Has nothing to do with where your outside AC unit is located.

Congratulations. You found your AC condensate drain form the evaporator coil. No need to fix it. It is doing what it is supposed to.

Now that you have found your AC drain line go ahead and hook up a shop vac to it and clean it out. Nothing like finding a leak inside the house because the drain is clogged with mud dabbers or algae.

Now here is my last question about this, there is another drain that looks the same in front of my house close to the water heater and heat/ac furnace looking thing where I put the filter in, that drain does not leak anything, is it normal to have another ac evap line on the other side of the house not next to the furnace, that's the only reason I question it.

The drain in this picture is the condensate drain for the Air Conditioner. Your post is a little confusing, I am not sure if this is the one that is dripping ?? Where exactly does the other "drain" hook up to ?
