Looking real good man, love the idea and attention to detail.
Thanks. I'm having fun building it, I just wish I had more time to actually work on it.

Looking good man. Better have one helluva stout, wide, and heavy base.
Might consider adding a hydraulic strut to keep from dumping that heavy *** table on your knees while trying to adjust it

Added a groove to my pivot pin to keep the table top from working its way out when being rotated when its set at 90 degrees.

Great ideas and workmanship. A lot of the bench time tig welding is positioning. Moving around is a time eater and being able to easily adjust the table while the weldor stays put is an advantage.
Beautiful job dude!
Just found this thread and just have to say wow. If I may make a small suggestion; turn off a couple of threads on the lock bolt so that when it mushrooms it will still remove from the hole.

no neat sig line
How are you going to raise and lower the table?
Thank you. I know that with my welding ability, or lack there of, that positioning the work piece exactly how I want it will vastly improve the quality of my welds.
Thank you
Thanks for the great idea, ill definitely do that.
I planned on making a self locking ring that would only allow the table to go up, and not fall under its own weight when the pinch bolt is loose. Think bar clamp locking mechanism.
Now if the table top is too heavy to lift by hand, or I have something heavy bolted to it, I have an air cylinder I can use to lift the top.
Now that i have capped the upper tube the hinge is now 100% Next up is making this thing height adjustable. I really hope i use this thing enough to make the time involved with building it worthwile.

Very nice precision work
Very nice work, I like the air cylinder idea, make a pedal on one of the base legs so you can adjust it up or down while sitting.
looking good!
smooth welds!
Awesome, awesome work.
Have you considered yet how you'll configure the legs? I'd go for a 3-leg bottom, with wheels on two legs- that way you can wheel it around without having to tip it very far, and it'll be super stable when set down.
old B2200?
and the table is awesome
