Well, it's $9.00 to ship it by itself, so I suspect this was done on purpose. It's a discontinued item, they want to get them off the shelves, and they figure if they lure you in on something like this you'll shop their store and buy more stuff. For $9.00 to ship a ratchet, I figured I'd look to see if there were other things I wanted to get first. It's a nice looking ratchet, but I don't really NEED another one right now (for free I'd happily take one, but for $9.00 I'll stop and think about it).

Still, this is a good find and thanks for sharing.

yea, I was already placing an order, and just happened to notice it. It says it ships in 10-14 days, so we will see.

You have to add something that has a price, like a $1.29 pair of safety goggles, and then you'll be able to pay.

Could only get as far as paying for shipping. Then no payment method available.

Another one that decided to give it a shot. If it doesn't go through, no big deal. As long as they don't send me a $2 set of safety glasses with $9 shipping without verifying first.

Free shipping on orders over $199 - how many of these do I need to order to get over $199?

On a more serious note... These thin profile craftsmans are probably my favorite ratchets. My son works in a scrap yard and hates all polished tools because they are hard to get a grip on when your hands are greasy. To each his own....

Lol. I hope I got my order in before you. I definitely don't want to pay $10.58 for a pair of safety glasses.

I got one of the Wright 1/4" bodied ratchets with the 3/8" guts for the filler item, those things are sweet..

I tried an order of 10 and a tilt 3/8 driver to 1/4 hex adapter. Something tells me the order will be cancelled.

I'm in for a modest 4 and the #1 recommended pair of safety glasses.

Hmmm, to me it seems completely logical that your filler item orders will be fulfilled even after the Craftsman ratchet is canceled or sold out resulting in lots of filler items shipping at nine bucks per..... :dunno:

Oh and...what's up with the 10-14 day shipping schedule? They sending stuff by carrier pigeon from their warehouses/stores?

I can choose 2-day Priority Mail for $9.00 as a shipping option, but the message in the cart indicates that the ratchet "normally ships in 10-14 business days". That is rather comical.

Since the ratchet is not an in stock item I suspect that the $0.00 price is a mistake rather than an attempt to clear out old inventory. Orders for these ratchets will likely be canceled. The question is: Will they still try to process the other minimal cost item plus $9.00 shipping?

I have a feeling that this is not worth the risk.

I figured why not and I ordered 6 and a pair of safety glasses. We'll see if end up with anything.

Seems lie an obvious error.
Cant wait for all the butthurt replies about ToolBarn not delivering these. Or everyone complaining about spending 9$ to get their cheap filler items and no ratchets.
They lost my business, I will never not buy any free ratchets from Toolbarn again!:lol_hitti

It looks like shipping for a similar ratchet that actually cost something, is 8.99, so probably a price mistake, but good luck to anyone who tried...

I see they do have a bit of craftsman industrial tho.

They are good ratchets. I could see maybe one order slipping by but garage journal just flooded the system I will be amazed if this deal goes through. Good luck I opted to just watch I could use another one of these but I just have too many ratchets.
