I ordered these from Home Depot based on brand recommendations from some of you. They are to build a 2' square frame for a wedding picture prop from 2"x2". People hold it in front of themselves while a picture is taken. Popular these days I'm told.

Going in a different direction from my recent Wright Tool purchase's
DSC00175.JPG

Yep, Harbor Freight goodies, I use socket type metric hex drives often though and for the price I thought I would give these a try. Many motorcycle axle's are held in with hex drives and If I can use my impact that's another plus.

A new box to put my hex sockets in, these are the 44" models.

My Porter Cable 333 died, so I am trying this as it's replacement. I do lots of sanding, so we will see if it can last as long as my 333 did.

I looked on cripe not long ago for another set of those GW sockets/ratchet and didn't see them. I wouldn't mind having a second set to put in my car.

That's exactly where it's going to live, under the seat in the car.

Picked up a set of those discontinued long nose Klein pliers from ebay, about the same price as non-prime-amazon with free shipping

My little Knipex haul from Sears' Memorial sale, less the bolt cutters... First actually decent pliers I have owned.

Best price I've seen on these in Canadian tire, $15 for each set. Have metric Allan key sockets but no SAE so works out well

HF 14 piece puller set item #30305. Already on sale, plus I used 25% coupon to lower the price further. Won't see much action.

Got my Honeywell UVEX face shield today. $41 delivered from eBay. It's an excellent product, very easy to use and I'm sorry I went so long without it. My last shield was just awful.

I've been looking at those. Let us know how long it lasts before it's hard to see through.
