I have this old Snap-On 1/2" drive speeder either a k4 or k5 its a shorty I would put manufactured around mid to late 20's. How rare do you think this is and if anyone would like to take a stab at what they think its worth is. Thanks in advance.

What's teh part number on it?
That should tell us if it's 1/4", 9/32 or 3/8" drive (it looks too small for 1/2" or 5/8" drive-but only you can tell us that by measuring)
What's teh date code stamp on it?

Worht?

If an odd drive size, that renders it into a lower buyer count.

If someone is needing it to fill in a set, likely that will fetch more $ than someone looking to use it.

Its mid 20s. A fairly common one. 1/2 dr. value 10-25. This has a two ball stop. The pinched stops are some of the rare ones.

Its 1/2 inch drive. I don't think has much value as a working tool more of a collectors item.

Why not? It's hard to find speed handles with a free turning center handle nowadays. I love my old Craftsman speed handles because they have this. The down side is I'd prefer chrome.

As for price, well, I see one just like it on Craigslist for $30.
Hey, it's in the same town as you too. ;)

I don't know the collector value myself. As a working tool (if I didn't already own two nice chrome Craftsman speeders), I'd probably pay $5-10 at the flea market for this. Being that it isn't chrome, I don't think I'd pay more, but as said above, if someone is looking to fill/match an old tool set, perhaps they would.
