Especially those out of town locations. Any grinder lovers in the Dayton/Urbana area, go get it! That's a damn big piece of iron!

Sure wish I could find that in my area. They want that for the $35 HF grinders. That is certainly a solid piece of iron.

Yeah some people would pay $60 just for the stand to mount their existing grinders to.

He didn't say much at all. I'd be willing to bet it is a 3ph ex commercial unit. Looks like ~10" wheels? :dunno:

Yep.

With so much old GM, Ford and other mfg around that area until recently, that's gotta be 3 phase I bet. 230v minimum.

I;d have to call my buddy with a Ford/Jerr-Dan rollback for that one.

Missing eyes guards though, so I'm out. LOLOLOLZ.

That is a Hoss though.

I tried calling but no call back. I was a curious little monkey.

Here's another. Technically it was breakfast.

Solid Oak Machinist's Toolbox - $1 (Marysville)

I'm listing for a neighbor a solid oak toolbox with some tools included. There are 11 drawers, all of which are felt lined. This box has been used but has been very well taken care of.
The tag on the front says: Built by H. Gerstner & Sons Dayton, Ohio USA Model - 052
I do not know what to call the tools that are included, but there is also a very large book concerning machining.
The asking price is $300.00 or best offer.
Call 614-270-8837 to see this fine made toolbox.

Craigslist is quite addictive. It started 10 years ago for me and my interest in vintage woodworking machinery and there was a plethora of it in the central Florida area. It starts off by acquiring the essential pieces of machinery. Then it veers off into the "I need a backup piece of machinery". Then it veers off again to "I need a spare parts machine". After 10 years I managed to accumulate three of everything and I rarely used any of it.

It's the thrill of the chase and paying a bottom feeder price that gets the adrenaline pumping :)
