Those Coke jugs look to be late 60's early 70's? nice find, and in the OG box.
I have a Coke fetish 2, got tons of stuff. I try to collect the real thing and not so much repo.

I think any collector some how ends up with a bit of coca cola in the collections Herb, it just seems to find it's way in.

You have been busy whilst the computer gave you issues.

Brand new computer now so hopefully it won't cause me any problems for a year or so. trying to buy stuff via the phone was a bit of hit and miss.

HOTFR8: Any news on that beautiful VW ute? :D

After i finish the buick and i am doing a 6" chop on a Model t 5 window coupe at the moment for another guy and floor pans for a Monaro for another guy, Also have 2 charger's coming in for bare metal resprays and a 70 cuda as well for panel and paint after the conversion from left to right. So it is a little way down the track.

Your going to need a bigger place for all the new to you stuff you are acquiring.

I built a 9 bay shed out the back just to clear the main shed up a while ago and the other weekend we built a lean to off the back of the main shed and that got rid of another 6 cars so it will be pretty roomy in there once the 2 car trailer's get finished which should be sometime next week.

And that's about all of it, there is a couple of other items but nothing weird and wonderful like the rest. I better get back to this chop so i can spend it on more treasures.

So latley i have been working on a 6" chop on a model T for a guy, i have done a bit of work on his model A and a couple of other vehicles he has. He already cut 6" out of the rear sections so i just had to trim any of the lines that where out a little, we oxy welded it and dressed it up. The next stage is cutting the back section he wants it with only a 4" chop out of the rear window with the 6" chop of the the outer frame.

WOW,

Nice find on the McDonalds stuff, you got to have a big space for a sign like that.

On another note I am in SoCal and have seen full size Bob's Big Boy statues for sale, they are out there but they are a little pricey.

Hi GJ people,
I recently had a mate went over to Pomona and Longbeech swaps and sent me a pic of another Mcdonalds sign so i told him to grab it, it arrived on Thursday and i was down the coast for the annual Coolies rocks on festival so i picked it up.

He also had a big Bud light helmet that i couldn't leave behind

Also while down at the event i went to a local swapmeet for a browse and only to find a sign that is very hard to find and will stay in my shed for a long time, in 2003 Boyd Coddington sold his wheels over here using another company as a dealership so he had a sign made up and it was a copy of his original one on his shop and when they closed the sign vanished only to appear on the weekend.

I also had a mate help me make my first Tiki, he cut one side and i cut the other using a chainsaw and then i dressed it up with a flap disc on the grinder and then burnt it up with the oxy and a bit of paint for colour, i am now in the process of doing one by myself but i don't think it will look as good as this one so it might just be firewood.

Thanks for the update Lee.

The Coddington sign, one huge

All round some nice scores and family pic.

Take care with the charger if you are intending using it, the one i has that was a similar vintage was loaded with asbestos.

Cheers

Damn Lee, your becoming the Don Long of down under:) The Boyd C sign is top notch, and something you won't see many of.
Pictures of the family are nice to see, you have a beautiful wife and daughter. You are very talented, and blessed, and have lots of cool stuff.
Put some blood shot eyes on the tiki guy, he looks like a party guy. The one on the bottom is probley how he feels the next morning:eyecrazy:
So are you doing all the building on the chopped T? looks like its portioned properly. Have a good day mate
