You are becoming a hoarder:thumbup: keep up the good work.
I like the porcelain light fixtures. That's a lot of miles in a short time of drive, bet it was fun.
We just had our yearly swap meet in Wichita, Kansas., it was colder than a well diggers ***, with snow and ice causing some vendors not to show up. I need to go to some place I've never been, just for a new experience. Gooday mate

Great find. What are you plans for the old geiger counter / radar?
Are you planning on fixing up the Firestone sign?

Just put it in the corner with the rest of the junk, I wont worry fixing the sign as i like em a bit rough, adds character and the price is usually better.

So i decided to build some Clay Smith signs to go with the Moon eyes, i decided never to make them again, alot work building a 40mm boarder all the way around so alot of rolling and folding and welding. I thought i was past the hard part then realized i had to mask for four different colors.

Howdy everyone, I have had a bit of computer problems so been trying to keep up to date via phone but not having much success as i have been pretty busy with work and so on. Having no computer hasn't stopped me from still looking for a bargain or 2 or maybe even 3. Here is a couple of pics of what i have been up to lately.

I have been working on the wifes Buick and being that i can't get rust repair section over here i have had to make everything by scratch so it just slows down the process.

Whats the story on the 56 Chevy *** end? is that a real clip, or is it a fiberglass / plastic material? I like it. I have a real clip just like that I need to make into a seat, maybe I'll get motivated to start another project?

Now thats a pack of "peckers"[/QUOTE]

Hi Herb, Is it a pack of peckers or a flock of peckers:lol: when i had 11 of them here it was crowded but they cleared out pretty quick.

You have some seriously cool stuff!

Hi Arps, thanks for the kind words.

Hi Herb it's just one of those fiberglass versions from yab designs, i am building 59 chev rear seat off an original car but it's a fair way down the list of projects. You should start building yours and do a bit of a thread on it for us to see.

I got busy the other day when i was doing some rust repairs sections on the buick and i was having problems hammering around the door section and i really needed another set of hands, instead i made up a stand and some T dolly's and they have been used just about everyday since.

Just a bit of solid round bar of 4 different sizes 250mm long and then i bent up another 4 for getting into a corner easier, then just welded to some flat bar. The stand is just an old truck brake drum.
