Snap on classic hard handle???

Just swapped my instinct soft handle set for the classic hard handle in red which untill i spoke to my snap on dealer thought that these handle screwdriver's were thrown out by snap on over time to the new instinct handle (all hand tools that use this handle not just screwdrivers). Im confused now because i thought that snap on did not make these classic hard handle screwdriver anymore fullstop, how can snap on dealers still get the sets if thats the case? The real question is thow are they the same handle as they used to be as sold in the 90's or whenever they were popularly about, or are they just copy's/remakes of the legendary classic hard handle. Also how will warrenty work in the future if snap on apparently dont make this handle anymore, this goes for the pry bar's aswell as they use the same handle.

Anyone know about these handles and if they are really the same as they used to be made years ago or are they a cheap remake??

They are the same with very slightly different markings, they are being made again after a short break.

They are not out of production, but not widely available. Generally they get sent out in batches and snatched up off the trucks fast. Warranty is a bit of a pain if you ruin your handle as they aren't on the trucks on a regular basis, but I've been using my red hard handle set hard for about a year and the handle still looks new. The shanks are replaceable and that is 99% of warranty issues with snap on screwdrivers anyway.

I just asked my dealer about hard handle screwdrivers but he said they weren't in production at the moment.

They are started making them awhile back but only screwdrivers scrapers and ratchets so far but it's great I like them a lot better than the soft grips and instinct handles they hold up better over time imo

They come out in batches. Buy them when you see them and you can't really order them.

I ordered a full set of red on the Snap-on Web site about a year ago. I also ordered some single red phillips drivers recently on the SO Web site. I tried to order some blue stuff but those orders were cancelled.
