Can anybody tell me how to find the socks in Snap On's web catalog? Trying to figure out how to order socks from Snap On is a challenge. Kind of like playing Where's Waldo.

I like Snap On's tools and socks a lot more than I like their online catalog.

There are 3 officially licensed distributors of snap-on merchandise.

If you go to store.snapon.com and look to the left, Right under "Shop by catagory" you will see "Licensed Merchandise". It will bring you to this page. At that point you can click on either of the 3 and look for what you want. I'm not sure where they get those snap-on socks as I cannot seem to find them from these distributors.

Found the three catalogs using the this page link. I'm missing something somewhere because I don't find the socks in any of the catalogs.

$10 a pair is well worth the price, I go through 10 pairs of Walmart work socks every three months, my snapon socks are going on 6 years. I try to buy a pair or two every time my dealer puts them on at $7 a pair.

My dealer charges $5 a pair. For as long as I can remember.

They actually are a fairly nice thick cotton sock. Worth it at $5 a pair. At $10 you're in wool lite territory.

Really? Snap on socks? I only came in here because I thought it was a typo and was about sockets! Hope you find what you're looking for.

HAHAHA! $10 bucks a pair? They can keep them for that price.

I know but if you can't get them from Snap On.com or have access to a dealer, it night be your only choice. I bought mine for $5/pr.

Yes, really at $5/pr they are worth the money. While I'm not on my feet all day like a Mech, my boots stay on my feet for about 14 hours at the fire dept. When these wear out, I'll buy more.

I will say it again, Darn Tough. Special Forces used them first, then Army and other branches started to issue them to general forces. Only socks I have ever owned to give me no hot spots nor blisters hiking, still on my first pair even after 6 years of teaching an outdoor/hiking science class. Made here in VT, lifetime guarantee. Not cheap, but last pair you will EVER buy guaranteed.

Do they have a lifetime warranty? Be worth it if you never near to buy socks again for the rest of your life!

Yes, my wife just warrantied two pairs of running socks. I have yet to wear any out, but have worn out Thorlo and Smartwool, the ones I used to use. You just have to print out and fill out the form from the website, and you do have to pay shipping back to them. Like I said though, they are not cheap at about 20 bucks a pair. Living near the factory is great, two weekends a year they have a clearance sale, plus you can buy surplus military issues.

I had a HARD time buying a pair of 20 dollar Darn Tough socks...thinking that's too much money for a pair of socks..

well...

I've about gotten rid of every non-Darn Tough sock in my sock drawer...nothing else is worth wearing...

I've tried a few other brands of wool socks...but none are as good as the Darn Tough's...I've warn them for 4 days straight before and they never got loose or let my feet get damp....

Looking at the Large Crew socks picture, these look like what I bought from the Snappy dealer.

http://www.snaponsocks.com/

In doing a little domain name kung fu this site appears to be an individual in Wisconsin. Wonder how long until Snap-on shuts him down?

This has happened before. Don't know why SO occasionally plays these games with the web site. Seems like they should be happy selling socks at $10/pair that you can get from many drivers for $5/pair (or even free.)

I have never seen the official SO socks available from any licensed merchandise sites.

$10 a pair for quality, Made in USA socks is actually a pretty good price. I don't own any "Snap On" branded socks, and likely never will, but my hunting, hiking, and ski socks all cost a lot more than $10 and I have never regretted buying them. The one time I bought cheap WalMart work socks my feet were absolutely miserable, never again will I make that mistake.

Like other Snap On products, people are quick to jump at any chance to bag on them for being overpriced. Some of their stuff is overpriced, but their socks are priced on par with other quality socks.

I convince my dealer to throw in a pair or two of socks when ever I buy something off him. I've gone through about a dozen pairs and only paid for a few of them. Always ask for them after a price on the goods has been set though :)
