The sets in my store are still made in USA. Even the set in the max axess set i bought a month or so ago was made in USA. That being said the quality over the last few years has dropped greatly, they barely clean the edges before plating them.

I got some nice looking USA made that must have been old stock if what everyone is saying is true about lack of current quality.

I had two $5 off any purchase coupons from two waits longer than 5 minutes for in-store-pickups so I got both sets for $10 total

Really the only reason I do in-store pickup is for the extra $5 coupons now, since they have almost a 100% success rate in exceeding 5 minutes at my store

Last time I picked up the kiosk was broken and it took them 15 minutes to find someone to help all the people waiting. We received no coupons. ***** I didn't know about this. I guess now would be a good time to pound the ship to store and see now many coupons I can get out of them...

i picked mine up tonight, and got usa as well. i think folks get a little too hypercritical about a $5 set of wrenches, but if you don't like what you got you can just hand them over and get your money back.

its because they're stamped out instead of forged. They're not worth purchasing. Maybe the Chinese ones are improved.

My old Craftsman US made ignition wrenches do have a purpose. I was working on a lawnmower carb the other day and needed exactly one of these to fit in a very tight spot nothing else could get to to tighten and loosen a bolt. If I didn't have these, I would have had to remove alot of other bolts I didn't want to do. Very handy. I'm glad I got a full US set when you could long ago now... - Paul
