This set is no longer a "hot deal" and is still priced at $40. You can now use coupons to get it even cheaper (if you purchase a couple other things).

KILLER! I've been on the fence. Now I'm going to jump.

Some coupons aren't working, but I did get SAVE15 to work for $15 off $75. I'm going to play around with this some, to maximize the best coupon deal I can get is.

If anyone else stacks coupons on these, please let us know the best stacking for this.

Only coupons I could get to work so far are:

Load the cart up to $75, and use SAVE15 to get $15 off.

- or if you only want the hammers -

Use the $3 off $35 Storewide plus $2 in points coupon (from the smartphone apps). That will knock the hammers down to $36.99.

I can't find anything else that works or stacks. I'm going to keep trying for a bit longer.

Rather than loading up the cart with 75 bucks worth of stuff to use the 15 off coupon. I just ordered the hammers.

- Used a $3 off $35 and $2 extra points coupon.
- Used a $10 extra points on $30 purchase coupon.

So, the hammers were $36.99. Free Shipping. Plus $12 points for next time. I also had a little over 8 bucks of points to redeem. So Hammers came up less than 30 bucks.

I was on the fence when they were Hot Buys at $39.99 that blocked coupons. Now that they are more coupon friendly, I decided to take the dive. A lot of the coupons still don't work on these hammers, but some now do. Before, nothing worked, until they removed the Hot Buys designation.

I went through my ShopYourWay emails, and looked in them all at the various coupons. I had one that was $10 in points for $30 spent.

I basically looked at all my emails from Sears and SYW, because most have coupon codes at the bottom. Then the coupons on the smartphone app. Then coupons on SYW website. Then all the Sears codes.

Tried everything to find the best thing. SAVE15 works for sure for everyone, but you have to spend $75. The other codes might be targeted coupons tied to your SYW account.

Don't need these, but I think these are made by Vaughan in the US. Good quality here if so. - Paul

These are Vaughan! Absolute Top Quality (ATQ) Hammers!

Get the Set and get a drilling hammer "For Beating the Life out of .....whatever" Because the 32BP gets heavy fast.

I have the whole Vaughan steel handle series. They (same hammers) are cheaper at Sears. These are the best hammers on the market!

I have been waiting and waiting for a good deal on a basic ball peen set. To get a C-Man set, Made In USA, for $40 shipped, is killer! Had a drawer reserved just for the occasion:

The ball peins are really nice. I got in on the $39 deal a couple months ago and have used the hammers a number of times. Well worth the price and well-made in US.

Great deal again. I have this set. I've been waiting for the open stock pieces to go on sale for the two other size ball peins and the other plastic/rubber hammer, to fill out the set and make it an 8 piece matching set.

I paid $45. I cant find the online form for price adjustment. Anyone know were to look? Sears and Google are not being friendly to me to locate in searches. Thanks in advance.

Was surprised to find 10,000 surprise points. CurrentlY $45 but $39.99 for craftsman club members. For $28 this should be worth having since made in the USA reduces are decreasing. Hopefully these will be us made.

Consider yourself lucky. Sears usually tosses items into an oversized box, throws in a single air bag for good measure & sends it on it's merry way.

I got 2 32 oz hammers but no 24 oz hammer. I'll be going to sesrs to exchange. They seem pretty nice. All USA made. The ball ends could be rounder without flat spots but for 28 bucks, I'm happy.

Store generally refer you to call the customer service number for online orders. I have tried in the past to get swap outs for incorrectly sent online orders and they will not do it.

About a month or so ago, these were same price 39.99, and you could add two to your cart and apply the SAVE15. That doesn't work anymore.

They are getting much better about applying "Hot Buy" to sales which cuts off coupons. Although it seems like the points back coupons you get with other purchases at the bottom of the e-mail and shop your way e-mails still work.
