Securing 3 tier 26" tool chest - different makers

I'm a weekend warrior with a small house and garage. With that in mind, I'm looking to arrange a few tool chests and have some questions.

How do I secure a 3 tier 26" Frankenstein tool chest? Husky, Craftsman, and Taskforce. I was going to go the HF route, but came across this and decided this will work for the basement (light tools and gunsmithing), plus it was $110 for all three. It has a little wobble and I'd hate for it to fall. The 3 makers' holes aren't compatible. Would drilling small holes and bolting them together be the best route?

I have another top and bottom 27" Frankenstein that I'm thinking of welding and painting just to play around with. More of a comment than a question, but your thoughts are welcome :).

For the garage, I'm looking at the 44" HF bottom, then eventually adding a top and side. It's just in a 1 car garage, but I think that'll be enough to finally organize the place. Again, more of a comment, but input is welcomed :)

Yes, just pick holes in one, mark and drill 1/4" holes in the other to match. I always use fender washers on each side.

You keep adding tools until it's so heavy you can't move it. :)

Thanks! I'm not planning on rolling this around too much. It's pushed up against the workbench. I'm mainly concerned about a buddy getting something out and it toppling over. I don't want to play 200 tool pickup :bounce:

Thanks Jack, that sounds like a good route. Would a 1/4" x 5/8" be sufficient? I'm guessing too long and it'll impair with the drawers.

There's your problem you want it full enough that it is heavy enough to not tip over. Something like 2000 tool pickup :lol_hitti
Seriously though if you want to bolt it together drill a couple holes and 1/4"-20 bolts will be plenty.

Ended up bolting them together last night and it was a big DUH!

The Craftsman had 4 bolts and nuts tucked in the back. Few quick drill holes and it was done. Now it's time to stuff it
