Smaller castors for HF 44" ?

Hi all. Forgive me if this has been covered before. I've been using the search function for a while now and I can't find an answer. I'd like to lower my HF 44" box a couple of inches at least. Are there smaller direct replacement castors available?

You may have a good reason for do this but keep in mind a 1/4" piece of gravel will stop a 2" wheel pretty easy. The bigger the wheel, the bigger the obstacle it will roll over. That said you may just have to measure the mounts and find replacements.

Thanks. Thing is I have it under a Gladiator workbench and it's just a tad bit too tall for being perfect. A couple of inches lower would make it better.

If it isn't rolling around, then take the castors off and put the box on blocks to fit under the bench. Save the castors for when you decide to upgrade to a different box.

I put a set of these on mine:

3 In. Rubber Swivel Caster With Brake

This made the cart about 2" shorter. I had to drill two new holes per caster and lightly ream one of the existing holes.

My reason for doing so is that I wanted all 4 swivel castors and I used the original castors on another project.

I had a similar problem... I raised my table the 2 inches with a 4x4 laying front to back. I trimmed the 4x4 to the right thickness.

same here, more or less, i think i went with 2" casters, all four swivel, the front 2 lock from HF. the original casters were bolted into threads tapped into the support bar. i chose to bolt them through with a nut and bolt and lock washer. the only moving that gets done is to take the boxes out from under the bench to clean under and behind. this picture is the early stage with just one box, the tallest part of the boxes measure 37" high.

I looked up the 2" casters from HF and all I could find were the 2" light duty? Is that what you went with? Will weight be a concern?
