Tool Review : Wilde Flush Fastener Pliers

I just uploaded a review for the Wilde Tools Flush Fastener Pliers. These are a fairly useful design for all-around use, and are an upgrade over traditional slip joint pliers.

Wilde Tools is a 100% made in the USA company that is an OEM manufacturer for many of the major tool brands. They offer top quality at a reasonable price.

In this review I go over the major differences between regular slip-joint pliers & the flush fastener pliers. Although they do look similar, the flush fastener pliers will grip when the regular ones will slip.

They have a lifetime warranty against defects & are machined very well.

These are definitely a handy tool to have, no matter what profession you are in.....or if you are simply looking for a quality tool to keep at home.

Another thing i would like to point out. These handles are unlike regular curved slip joint pliers. These seem to be like the linesman plier style of grip, which is much more comfortable IMO.

Oh cool, I didnt even pick up on that w/the handles. HJE is definitely the cheapest place around for these at the moment it seems.

Wild "E".....I watched some of their youtube videos to confirm this.....I initially thought the "e" was silent.

I have two pair, I have used them fencing for some time. They are very good pliers.

What is the part number of the angle nose pliers in your video?

Channellocks (as pictured in the video) are actually arc joint pliers, whereas the angle nose pliers have a water pump plier action. Nice, informative video but, I thought the e on Wide was silent so, I've always called them Wild pliers

I like the Wilde stuff a lot, but for some reason those 6" models don't fit my hand very well. Those 8" ones look like they'd work a lot better for me, but they are bigger than what I normally use.

I don't know, brother. I agree it is an awesome price, but it's not apples to apples. I'd rather spend more for a superior product...but the cost increase has to be linear with the performance increase.

I wouldn't want to spend 9 bux on a pair of pliers that never get used because the $30 talon grips are what get reached for first. In my eyes, that 30 is better spent than the 9 that sits there. See what I'm saying?

I agree. If you'll never reach for them, it's not worth it. I've never used the Talon grips, so i can't speak for them. These Wilde's are pretty awesome for the money.

It's a great store. If you plan a weekend trip they close by noon on Saturday. Hate to see you come from BC and find out hard way.
