I was searching for info on some wrenches on google and found a link to GJ. Now I can't leave and my tool collection has grown quite a bit!

I was searching for something tool related (can't remember exactly what) on google and found this place. My initial impression was, "what a buch of toolaholic nerds".....well, I quickly became one and had to click that "register" button.

I found it when it was called Garage Junkies. I think I was told about this forum on Shop Floor talk.

My brother was planning to build his shop; I thought I would look on the web for info! I think I initially was looking at all the crazy garage pics from the "ultimate garage" guy (http://www.ultimategarage.com/) and then after all the shock/awe wore off... I found my way to the tool discussion... :)

I found the Craftsman Club board first, which referenced ToolMonger, where I started reading, and Garage Journal was mentioned - in a comment by eschoendorff, I believe.

Blame him! :D :D :D

I believe I found the Garage Junkie Forum after it was recommended in a post on Vintage Mustang Forum.

Bolster emailed Plomb Tools asking for help with a Plomb question. I blame him for all the hours I've spent on this board!

I was likely doing research on some company and Google pointed me here. It might have been another board, but since arriving here it's pretty much the only forum I frequent anymore...

I was asking about garage wall art on a BMW forum. Someone pointed me here. I hardly even visit the BMW forum anymore.

Found it via Mark Kw's tool site, which I've been a member of (through several versions) for 10+ years. Was originally called "Tool Talk".

I was researching a tool via google and one of the first hits was the GJ, I liked it here enough that I decided to stay.

I'm with Paladin, was trying to ID a tool I bought in a box and google got me here. Like Paladin, can't leave and got a lot more tools. Also frequent flea markets every weekend, and show off my old tool finds to every one who comes into the shop.

Googling for garage flooring information. Found it strangely seductive and spending more and more time here to my wife's complete and utter lack of comprehension.

I did a google search looking for information on Motofloors which where on sale at costco and found this place before it's new owners updated the software.
I joined mainly because I wanted to see the attachments of people's floors and garages - I really don't have much to contribute so I don't post much. With the new forum upgrade I do find myself here more often and have actually started posting.
This is a great place for ideas and it has some cool personalities for sure.

BTW, my floors are still oil stained concrete a year later - no motofloor or racedeck. If anything this site will do, it's make you change your mind.

I googled for information on garage floor coatings. Since then, I have been hanging in the tool forum.
