I'm not exactly sure when it occurred, but Gladiator recently made some changes to this shelf and sent production overseas. It still seems like a high quality product, and is extremely simple to put together. IMO it looks cheaper though.

Just know that it might not be exactly the same as the one you see on display (or in the pictures on the website).

These look like the Edsal shelving I bought at Lowes, but with 1 fewer shelf.

Yes, these are not "New" and you can get them at every large box store. I purchased mine at Menards....If you are looking for some extra storage I would go to Home Depot and use a price match coupon.

Sears has jacked their price back up and HD might be OOS for shipping. I stopped by Costco today and they have comparable shelves on sale for $133. You can even put the shelves on either side, so you can buy two and make a set of three just like the Gladiator. Was hoping to use some SYWR points, but I might just get these.

I have the Costco / Whalen 77x72x24 bought a few years back. Very happy with it and have a lot of weight on it.
Very adjustable.
If I had room I'd buy another one...

Anyone interested in these needs to check sears periodically. I checked earlier in the day and it was $179.99 but it's now back to $140.69. I added one to my cart but can't bite the bullet since I have so many other shelving units.
