I have a (10) year old, very lightly used set of Victor/Firepower tanks, regulators/gauges, combo gas welding/cutting torch, few extra tips, hoses, tote, striker & manual/paperwork. I'm going to be selling these soon, possibly in the Classifieds. They're the "portable" sized small tanks and tote. I've used these only a 1/2 dozen times and they basically have sat under my bench for the duration. Set-up originally came supplied with tanks although these were exchanged with full used ones at my local welding supply. I'm really not sure what to ask for them as they were a present. I'm also not sure whether to sell as a set or everything but tanks as the tanks might not be able be filled at other suppliers, plus they're possibly due for a pressure inspection. Any suggestions?

Look on your local CL for the going prices. I found this one.............

Seems a little steep to me but maybe they're more expensive in your area.
I picked up my set off of CL. 10 years old, rarely used, owner owned tanks w/receipts, cart and all the peripherals you see laying in front of it. Mine is full sized, though. Cost him $700 retail originally. I paid $200. Not a 'you ****' deal but a more than fair price.

Thanks for the link,
I haven't come across a similar set to mine on CL although feel around $140-160 should be fair. BTW, you did really well on the set you purchased.

I don't know what your "you ****" parameters are, but $200 for what you got in just the #4 acetylene and D (122CF) or S (150CF) oxygen, and the cart--especially if it's a USA-made Harper--not even counting the torch, hose and regulators, is a steal most anywhere.

Yep. That setup around here is $500, and not nearly as new looking.

The set the OP has is usually around $200-$250 here. I've seen them slightly lower but they get swooped up fast below $200.
