Think I got a deal at Menard's.

Wife wanted to look for a patio umbrella at Menard's, which she didn't find, but on the way out I stopped by the clearance rack. Channel Lock GS-1, set of the 9.5" and 6.5" straight jaw T&G pliers were marked at $24.99. Needed another B-day gift for my son so I picked them up. Rang up at $14.99! Now the website says they're on clearance. Not sure if Menard's is gonna quit selling Channel Locks, but it seemed like a good deal to me. What do you guys think?

Menard's isn't getting rid of Channellock. That set is a left over Black Friday special. They were $10 then. My local store still has boxes full of them.

I Bought 3 sets during that sale. Could not pass them up for that price.

The deal I liked the most though was the 7 piece ratcheting flex head Gearwrench sets that they had for $27.88.
