this one i am looking at is not on C/L its in an auction and the stand is not original, That stand on that one could be original but the base of the grinder don't look like it fits it properly

The one you're looking at is somewhere between 60 and 75 years old. Good grinder. :thumbup: The stand is considerably newer.

The one on Chicago CL is newer--50/60 years old. Also a good grinder. The stand is probably from some other kind and brand of machine.

it sold for $50 who knows where it would have went if i would have kept bidding it went into extened bidding 4 times plus i had buyer fees plus a haul back fee there will be another

What is a haul back fee?

Yes, I'm not very auction savvy, been to a few and never heard of a "haul back fee", just curious. :headscrat:

The only time I've heard it--and I can't remember if they used the exact same wording--was from one particular auction company that would bring hand-carry sized auction lots at remote auction locations back to their main office for a modest fee, or sometimes even for free.

Guessing that's what he means.

Handy service for live auctions outside of driving range that offered online or absentee bidding.
