First off thanks to Steve Bush @ T&S Innovations in central MA. I usually tackle things myself but wasn't feeling up to it this time. He did this by himself and it took ALL day. He fit the tiles around everything and filled in all the edges. He did an awesome job! Very happy with the outcome.

My design is different than most. I will always be a car nut and a drag racer and wanted to incorporate something on the floor. i came up with this.

In the morning we started to measure and do chalk lines but things were working out. We figured it out and it came out great!

my only question is people with VCT....have you put down polish / wax other than Armstrong? looks like no one around me carries it.

Not 100% but most vinyl floors really don't care what brand floor wax (general purpose) goes down, but you will need to put something down to protect it. 2/3 of our fire stations still have VCT type floors inside and we are responsible in keeping them clean and waxed. Over the past 20 years I seen the wax brands change (low bid I'm shire) with no problems and good results.
If I may suggest a nice finishing touch to your floor, 4" of 6" vinyl wall base. This will help with keeping the walls clean during stripping/waxing and polishing. It gives it a finished look.

Very nice results, looks fantastic. Is that a free standing building and or is it a garage condominium. I am sure it will contain a few interesting rides.

Scrub clean with a neutral cleaner....rinse well....2 coats of sealer. Up to 4 coats of wax.....lowes carries wax and sealer....do a search for. Spartan, butchers, diversey, but a local janitorial supply place....make sure you use a nylon or synthetic mop ...don't use cotton because it will leave lint......I forgot Zep also....I sell Johnson wax, now called Diversey.
