Are these the same as Husky Pro And Cman cushion grip?

I have a few of the old Husky Pro Screwdrivers that I really like but of course the most important ones have gone missing. I want to replace them with at least similar drivers and came across these. I will basically go with whichever ones I can find the better deal on. Cman cushion grip, Husky Pro, Sk or possibly these if they are the same. I haven't found any info on them but they sure look close. Any input is appreciated.

I am 99% sure these are not USA made like the others you have mentioned so they wouldn't be the same.

The husky pro they just dumped were made by western forge. SK or Cman pro will have nearly identical blades but that handle style is dead.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm going to keep my eye out for the 8 pc. set Cman at sears. Hoping they will go on clearance as they are phasing them out.

As was mentioned, Western Forge in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was the manufacturer of the Husky Pro, Craftsman Professional and SK screwdrivers. Home Depot just clearanced out the Husky Pro screwdrivers (red transparent handles with black butyl overgrip). The earlier ones were marked "Husky Pro" and later ones just "Husky". I've also heard Craftsman Professional screwdrivers are going away too. Ideal Industries Inc. both SK and Western Forge and as far as I know Western Forge will continue to produce SK screwdrivers here in the USA.

Thank you for the info. It looks like I can go ahead and get the 2 phillips drivers I need from HD still. I will probably just go that route.

I saw the Cman pros on clearance at sears the other day but only slotted and they wanted $7.99 a piece for them. They looked like nice drivers but I don't need any more slotted.

If you live near an Ollie's Bargain Outlet store, they might still stock various sized Husky Pro slotted and Phillips screwdrivers from last Christmas priced at $2.99 each. It's worth a shot.

There's a lot of confusion in this thread about the Cman Pros and the Cman cushion grip. The cushion grip are still available, in fact my Sears is now carrying more of them since they discontinued the Pros. The Pro's were the same as the SK and Armstrong drivers with that style grips.

HJE has some good prices on them, but I think you'll start to see the ones at Sears going on sale in the near future.

My store is now carrying a rather large set of cushion grips for 49 bucks. Not to bad when compared to other brands. I've been keeping an eye on clearance on the pros but they are only 10 to 20 cents off right now

When I refer to the cushion grip, I am talking about these.

Which are very similar to the Husky Pro drivers I have now.

^These I saw in the clearance section at Sears a few days ago but they were still about $8 pre driver and they only had slotted.

Handle looks marginally different from cushion grips. But otherwise...same stuff.

Husky doesn't have anything similar to the craftsman pro drivers though (that I know of though).

That's what I was thinking. I think I will keep an eye out for a set and will purchase if the price is good enough.

The cusion grips do not have the good tips. Even though the husky looks like a cushion grip the tips are far superior. Especially the phillips.
