Boy your guys score Big! I just score little. I have a new addiction; older tools. Today I got a Walden Worcester "kissin cousin" to my WW socket I posted as a mystery the other day. Cost about $1. Also a huge clamp for $5 and a Tiawanese ratched with a quick realeast button for about $4. I have never had one of those, quick release that is.
But, what made my day was three Craftsman Vanadium Steel open end wrenches for $5. Maybe I paid too much, however I find I am enjoying old tools. I have all the new tools I need to work on what I work on so the old ones are fun.
The Craftsman wrenches came from a man who recently died at about 98 years old; kind of fun to think that he probably bought these wrenches new; back in the 1930s when he was a young man.
There are some other old wrenches there marked Vanadium but not Craftsman; AA says they are a sub brand; might be fun to see if they are still there in the next day or two.
I also like Anglican theology books; 100 years old or more are best; no corruption.
Maybe it's the same way with tools?
