Apparently, for the $2, you gotta share 3 items specifically from the "catalog" you created to cash in on the $5, not just anything random!

Got all $8 finally. What a bunch of ********, what kind of business model is this?

Is it really that hard to understand? Stop complaining about free money, Jeez!

Not complaining about free money at all, so don't take it as that... I am bitching about how ****** sears' website is - a well known fact.

As for the business model comment, please show me another successful company that is turning a consistent profit AND just throwing money into the wind? How does having a bunch of internet trolls creating random "back to school catalogs" of useless **** and sharing them only amongst the sywr network going to drum up more sales? Just wondering? :headscrat

Well think about this, how many of you save your points, to use it on a larger ticket item later on? look at the recent battery charger/starter on sale last week... most people don't have 50 to 70 dollars worth of points to buy it out right. That means they will use 10 or so points and pay the rest of it in credit, and they are making a profit. What do you think the mark up on some of there stuff is? 50% or more sometimes. Trust me they are making money on Chinese made tools.

Yea they might lose some money on guys like me, I ordered 8 wash cloths and two towels for 16 points or so in my two accounts. But I ordered a miter saw stand last week and only used 5 dollars in points, I still had and fork over 50 bucks towards it, they probably paid 15 to 20 bucks to make it. In the tools section they are making money, but I can see how they are losing money in other departments like clothing. All in all I don't think they would be giving out points all the time, with out getting something back for it.

Menards rebates are incredibly similar, free stuff all the time. I also find it way more annoying than 2 minutes on a website.
