K-d gold wrench set ?

Just picked up a set from 3/8 to 5/8 that are gold plated ?, Anyone know what these were used for ? , thanks

I'd say they're like the gold plated Craftsman ratchets- some kind of special anniversary set that's really not meant to be used, but looked at. Nice conversation piece, haven't seen these before.
