ok, kids

she is stamped dill 5103, has internal rod marked to 5" by 32nds,
hole in outer tube to view numbers.

oh and the dill air controls site lists 5103 as a torque wrench?

I'm not sure what it was for, but it works like an inside micrometer, with 1/32" graduations. It would be useful for measuring the width of wheel rims, up to 5", which is a fairly narrow rim. Probably obsolete by the early 1950's.
