has any1 on here used / seen rustoleum brand floor coating called safety coat plus?

it looks to have a nice finish look and is not smooth like the epoxy floor coatings.

i work in a repair facility for line distribution equiptment for my local power company. we have a wash bay to clean the units before we paint them .

the concrete floor gets wet and w the smooth finish can b slippery. safety is our #1 concern here (we have over 20 yrs w o a lost time accident and 1.02 million man hours since out last osha recordable)
soo i was wondering if any1 on here has experianced this stuff and if it will hold up to the water and forklift traffic w heavy loads

thanx for your help on advance

I'm gonna be the first to bite and suggest not using the Rustoleum product in that scenario. Rustoleum is not an industrial product, I don't care what their marketing team wants you to believe. This is what I would suggest.

Surface preparation: Shot blast concrete to provide a minimum ICRI-CSP 5 or greater surface profile.

1st coat: Tnemec Series 237 CHEMBLOC (or equal) @ 20 mils DFT, broadcast quartz aggregate to refusal.

2nd coat: Tnemec Series 237 CHEMBLOC (or equal) @ 20 mils DFT, broadcast quartz aggregate to refusal.

3rd coat: Tnemec Series 280 Tneme-Glaze @ 12-20 mils DFT depending on slip resistance wanted.

This is a pretty basic-standard system for that kind of area. Obviously you don't have to use the manufacturer I mentioned, but that is the type of system you'd want to use. If you have heavy forklift traffic on a constantly went thin film system, it will fail. The pressure from the tires turning, material being set down and sliding will pull that coating right up.

EDIT: Is this area open or surrounded by a block wall? If surrounded by a wall a cant cove should be constructed using a Tnemec Series 201 primer, and a slurry of 237 and quartz aggregate.

A single quartz broadcast with a urethane topcoat (containing alum oxide) would be ideal for your application.
