How about a thread like the craigs list morons, but for e bay?
I'll start with this one.
12" disk sander from harbor freight, can get for around $140.00 at harbor freight
use -20% coupon, for about $112.00.

I see it as a guy trying to make a buck. If the buyer doesn't know any better, then they might bite. If you sell one, you've made some extra cash. If not, no harm no foul.

It always amazes me the amount of people on ebay that don't compare pricing. You'd think if they were interested in an item, they'd google it first to determine if they were getting a good deal.

Certainly in the past, whenever I was interested in an item I'd google the product and the sellers website to see if it could be had any cheaper...

People like that waste good add space just looking for a sucker. Most of the time they was oxygen too.:beer:

I was the ***** 14 years ago before I knew about Harbor Freight and they didn't have stores in almost every town. Well, I know about HF, but forgot about them at the time and ordered a sand blaster from an ebay seller. I paid a healthy mark up and it was drop shipped from HF to my local PO. They refused to deliver it in the truck since it was big and heavy. I think I paid something like a $50 mark up. But I learned a cheap lesson that day. Ever since then I have learned to bargain shop elsewhere after finding it on ebay. I don't blame the seller, I blame myself for not looking around better.
