My new sign on the cheap

I was at Value Village about a month ago and saw a cool light with a lot of potential and it got the wheels turning. This is what I started out with:

So it was a fluorescent fixture but bulbs were stupid money and I wasn't sure about the ballast so I decided to go to Restore and see what they had. I picked up 3 cheapo builders special ceiling fixtures with no globes for $5. I popped the bulbs holders out and using L brackets I fastened them to the light base like this

I forgot to mention that the original light cost me $8. Then while I was in Syracuse in July I got a guy there that did vinyl to make me up some graphics for $10 and I put them on the lens. Here's what I ended up with for $23.

What do you think?

Looks good for $23...but it has the wrong name on it.

Sometimes VV and Restore come up with the right stuff.....we have often found things that can be easily re-used in there.

When I first looked at that, I was thinking LED light strips. Good imagination!
