This is the earnst clips I'm thinking of going with....since they're plastic they won't scratch or mar up my extensions and ratchets and they are available in all 3 drive sizes....
I'll just cut off the end part and then screw them down to a piece of mdf or a piece of plexiglass

Ya man...been really busy at work lately and with my sons dr. appointments for his diabetes.
Sux having a 5 yr old and having to give him 4 shots a day....but we gotta do what we gotta do you know....

Dude hang in there. It is a scary time. For sure. My daughter was diagnosed at 10 months old. She is 15 years old now. When she was diagnosed we spent 10 days at Children's Mercy in KC. Yes it sucked. But then I realized many of the kids there never get the chance to leave. Hang in there. It really does get better dealing with it over time. OK. Back to tools.

Ya thanx bro.....when he was first diagnosed with type1 he absolutely hated the whole needle thing and pricking his finger, but now he doesn't even say ouch no more....man this lil boy is a strong lil guy and I love him so damn much......
Hell before I know it he's gonna be doing his own shots and testing his own blood sugar without mom or dad's help.... It's only been 2 months since he was diagnosed but good lord has he grown up ALOT since then... He has now grown bout 3 inches since then and gained bout 10 pounds since we found this out also.

I thought I had issues...

Someone has a problem. I had never seen someone with more extensions than me. He probably has double what I do. I bought a few bins at an auction and ended up with a ridiculous amount of stuff.

I was trying to add pictures to my previous post. My old computer crapped out, & I lost all them. I had to figure out how to import them to the new box.

Here is what I meant by filling up the drawer, & they will not roll around.1364741305982.jpg

^^^^This is what i do one drawer for ext and one for ratchets.

Buy time you buy regular, locking and wobble in 1/4,3/8 and 1/2 you have a full drawer. And you only open the drawer when u need an ext. They move very little

When those are full.......you fill up another!

I am rearranging a cart and another box to get the brake stuff out of this drawer, as well as the sockets, so I can spread the stuff out more.

My 3/8", & 1/4" extensions reside in a 26" Waterloo top box with narrow top drawers. I don't have a picture of those, but they are both full

For smaller ratchets and extensions I use rubbermaid silverware trays from target or Wal-Mart. Longer ones lie in drawer length wise.

Nice, I used the WalMart/Rubbermaid silverware trays for my screwdrivers, punches, and chisels. They fit the drawer great. I might throw a couple more in for my extensions as well.

I seen this idea in an earlier post from somebody else's thread that I thought I might give a shot but can't find the clips nowhere.....he said they are broom handle clips from Home Depot and can get different sizes....so I'm gonna do some more looking and see what I can find

I really like this setup!

Right now I just moved all my 1/4 and 3/8 stuff into a smaller drawer. Tighter space=less room to roll around. Everything is lengthways so opening/shutting the drawer is not an issue with sliding. My 1/2" stuff is not really visible, but it's all in front of my sockets in the main drawer.

I just put them like in this pic and they don't move at all but my box is stationary so I don't have to deal with rolling it around.
