This is a combination of our Standard Primer, HD and SD Coatings.
Each coat was broadcasted to rejection.
The final product is approx., 1/8" thick.

That is a nice floor. The rest of the station is in need of an upgrade too!

My city's main station is getting a update, maybe I'll go knock on their door, and show them this!

Its hard to tell from the pics, but it was either grinding, or shot blasting. You can see the rows in the floor. Could be from vacuuming up, or the shotblaster. My money is grinding though...

Correct. You broadcast onto the floor until it the epoxy wont accept anymore flake ( rejection). The basecoat is totally covered up.

1/8" thick.

I bet that was a two 55 gallon drums of part A and Part B

I don't know if a firehouse takes more abuse then a general auto repair shop where jacks are being rolled around with cars on them and Engines are being lifted out of cars on cranes with tiny steel wheels.

Actually, they used 3 gallon units of epoxy like most DIY. We batch them into 5 gallon buckets so they use a fresh bucket with each batch. This was well over 100 gallons total.

Fire-Trucks bring the hottest hot tires and generally very heavy weights.

This system would be the same used in an automotive repair shop, very heavy duty.

Awesome floor. Similar design like mine but on a smaller scale.

In the photography world, that's a big no-no!! That's grounded for a lawsuit! I suggest you watermark correspondingly.

Would this be three coats primer, big thick color coat and top coat, or primer several color coats and a top coat. How do you build up to 1/8".
