Hello,

has anyone seen this tool from another manufacturer besides KS?

I am looking for a set, but they are quite pricey for tools made overseas.

Wurth sells double flex end metrics with that same offset. I have a set myself.

But, if price is a major factor in this for you Wurth is out too.

Gearwrench makes it in metric and SAE, just not with that offset that places the jaws below the level of the main wrench beam.

You guys have any part numbers and places to order these from? They look really useful.

Wurth distributers have a tool catalog as well as the chemical/fastener catalog. The good is Wurth has a heavy presence in the industrial sector in the US. I read of an online site too but never looked further into it. I do not know if they do online sales at all.

The problem is the pricing. NOTHING in a Wurth tool catalog is even near a low price. The same I do not regret buying them, they are very good tools

I looked mine over, they do not carry the part number on the wrench. I have no info at my house about them either, sorry.

Those can be handy, but when I need something like that I put a flare crows foot on the end of a small breaker bar

Today I received the "Boxo" ones.

They seem well made.
The flex moves easily but stays in position, is not flappy. It is well lubed.
You can adjust the movement via a hex key.
The box ends are not as well made as my german-made tools like Stahlwille or Hazet, but this is a problem solver and not my go-to wrench.

So I'm cross-posting here how I detailed a little more about the Jonnesway flex flares in the Fastenal Clearance Thread, post #38

http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4275352#post4275352

For ~$50 plus shipping you can piece together a set thru 1" (which, yes, I realize is simply not necessary for many users). I figured it'd get a bit lost in the Clearance thread but surely someone else here could use some inexpensive, mid-level quality Taiwanese-made flexible flare wrenches. With most of the wrenches under $5 ea they'd seemingly pay for themselves with just one use late on a Saturday night when nothing else will do.
