Hey everybody :)

In this review I will go over what makes the TEKTON 1882 different from standard socket rails, how to install sockets, and some "drop tests" so you can see how it will hold up.

The TEKTON 1882 is compatible with any 3/8" drive sockets, extensions, adapters, or universal joints.....and with optional side attachment, you can carry your ratchet & longer extensions along with the 1882 itself.

This is another MADE IN USA product that TEKTON carries, and I think that it is well made & will be the perfect solution for many people that are looking for an upgrade over the standard metal socket rails.

It has a free lifetime replacement guarantee....so if you ever have a problem with it, you can call TEKTON & they will replace the parts you need for free.

Click here to check out the TEKTON 1882 Socket Organizer --- http://www.tektontools.com/All_Products/1882

Check out the video & I think you will like it also. :)

Nice video & review, I just noticed these are carried at my local Meijers, a large chain in the Midwest. At $7.99 it seemed very reasonable for the product. *I picked one up tonight as there was 10% off general merchandise. For that amount, I'll give it a whirl.........

seems very similar to another brand, I won't add the name here, but I'm curious if they interchange and fit on each others rail systems?

good review

Those look pretty good. I'm still thinking about what system i'm going to use. I do like cnc foam mats for sockets.

Great review, bud.

Like the content of your reviews but you need to invest in some type of on person microphone setup for your audio. Sounds like you are doing a review in a restroom stall.

Another flawless video production executed with stunning precision by woodstockva. Absolutely no linguistic errors whatsoever. Just free flowing, perfectly annunciated words with a honey dipped Virginian flare. The manufacturer themselves couldn't've done any better.

Does anyone know if you can buy and add additional clips to the underside to have, say, short and deep on one rail? I know the Lowes aluminum ones were like that...but I only ever saw them in very short lengths. It looks like the rail is the same size top and bottom, so I "assume" it would work.

BTW....this 2-sided setup would be for the 4x4 tool kit...not the toolbox.

I guess my question is, although not the same system, would you buy these or the westling trays?!?!?!

I think it depends on how/where you work. I often have to carry tools around the property..out to a truck or trailer...so I definitely want these Tektons. If I was always working out of the box, then westling...

Haha nice! I want you to write my eulogy one day! ;)

Yes you can.....TEKTON sells them in 10 packs (item # 18812). I would have talked about that in the video if I had any, but didnt realize it until afterwards.

I would buy both. Westling for the shop, TEKTON for the road/field work.

My wife picked up a socket rail for me at Meijers today. I am very impressed with it. I put my set of 3/8 drive metric shallow sockets on it this evening. I plan to do some shop work this weekend and give it a workout. If it works as good as I expect I will be getting some more of them soon. I am glad to see a USA built product for a fair price. Well done Tekton!

Now that I've had my Tekton 3/8" socket organizer a while, I feel it's a good tool and I'd like to get one in both 1/4" and 1/2" drive. Oddly enough, my local Meijer doesn't carry those sizes. Anyone had luck in getting alternative sizes?
