I just purchased an Alemlube 450g lever grease gun on the cheap, I purchased a tube of Castrol LMX, which is supposed to be a good all round grease, but does anybody have any reccomendations on specific greases? This is to do all the wheel bearings and lubrication points unde a Daihatsu Feroza, which is a small 4 Wheel Drive.

I use lucas red N tacky for most general purpose grease applications. I keep my pneumatic gun loaded with the stuff.

I use to be in the same boat and used a lot of Castrol Agri-Plus, have none left now, and feel it would be wrong for the purpose anyway. I don't think Lucas is readily availible in Aus, but I guess it comes back to any lube is better than none.

For general suspension grease, anything rated "extreme pressure" (EP) with molybdenum (moly) in it. Too thick for wheel bearings.

I use Lucas Red & Tacky for extreme applications like race car wheel bearings and regular Lucas green grease for most wheel bearings. I swear by moly grease (any brand) for suspension, farm equipment and especially u-joints.

For a small Kubota tractor (BX25) I use the Lucas red, or other brands of the red synthetic grease. I had a pneumatic gun, but got this and it is amazing. Not tied to a compressor hose and has all the PSI I need

I use red n tacky but honestly I think Amsoil is the best, I used to use this in my old Formula Vee race car. They just don't sell it locally.
