Hey all!

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a 1/2 inch square drive bit adaptor with a 1/4 inch hex opening?

I have a total of 3 so far; Milwaukee, Apex QR 508, and Wera 784 C/1.

The Milwaukee *****. It is difficult to remove the adapter from the impact and it wobbles around too much. The Apex is nice but you will have to have a 1/4 bit holder to use 1" bits. It just makes the entire tool longer but it works great! The Wera does not need a bit holder and works great! I recommend the Wera because it is affordable and works well!

I actually have a Koken one on order. I believe it will only work with bits longer that 1" or you have to use a bit holder.

They have 2, one for small bits, and one for the larger its.

What is the model # for the smaller bits?

Forgot to add, I also have a Panasonic EY9HX110E bit adapter on the way. I think I may start a new thread on these once I get them all in to help out other people with this dilemma.

Here is what I have so far. The super long one is from McMaster Carr. It is stamped USA. It will only work with impacts with a ball detent, not friction ring.

Monte, how has that one been working for you and MattyRatty that set is really nice!

i only used it a couple of times since usually the 10,8 volt tool is used but so far they work nice. The fitment on the square drive and hex side is very good, and the bits don´t come out unexpected which could happen with a circlip style adaptor. I doubt you will be disappointed with any Koken product.
