I have decided and I am going to go with Racedeck diamond for my garage floor. Does anyone have the blue tiles in their garage? Are they as bright as they seem in the ads, website, etc..?? Is it possible for anyone to send me a piece of one? I am really considering getting black/blue or graphite/blue, so please let me know so I can get my floor and get it done!!!!!!

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian

We would be happy to send you a sample at no charge. The Royal Blue color is pearlesant ( like the Alloy & graphite) is vibrant, it is one of the more popular accent colors.

No matter what color you go with it'll show dirt easily. Even on the day of your install, when done you'll need to mop it good for it to look clean.

Has RaceDeck ever thought of making a terrazzo or multi color tile? How bout some camo or mosaic design patterns. Something to hide the dirt.

How bout you hire me as a designer. :)

Believe me, we are looking to manufacture a floor that never gets dirty and maybe even self cleans :) ..
Al kidding aside - We do have a patent process call TuffShield that is an in-mold process that put a very durable protective layer. We also have the ability to do a variation with this process and create graphics ( camo, carbon fiber, wood look, etc). wedo so for the display and trade show industries. It is really not up to our standards for the garage enviroment "yet".

As for colors that 'look' dirtier than others- Yellow and white in any style floor are tough to keep looking like new all the time as any object on the floor contrasts greatly. The best colors are graphite, alloy, red, royal blue, and black
