Anybody else here a fan of the satin finish that the old thorsen wrenches had? I am, I dislike high polish chrome tools too flashy :shocking:. They make me want to keep them in the tool box and stare at them instead of using them.

I used to care if the wrenches were chrome or satin but now that I have a large mix of both I really don't care. If I was starting over I would go with all satin for sure.

Although it goes against the 'tightwad' part of your screen name go Euro.

There are options in styles all in satin finish.

I like the black oxide best but mostly its shine or brown oxide finish in my toolboxes. Gotta go with what works best no matter the finish option.

Another vote for satin here. Stays looking nice longer and can usually save you a few bucks as well.

I understand the benefits of Black Oxide for certain professions, but I personally hate it.

I also prefer satin. no special reason why, just what I'm used to I guess.
