Home Depot 11% rebate.

I haven't seen this mentioned.
Home Depot will give an 11% rebate in the form of a Depot gift card to match Menards 11% rebate.
At the register ask for the information for the rebate and also ask for them to print a copy of the receipt.You must send an actual receipt.

I did it when I bought my garage materials. they gave me a gift card for $1150 dollars. It came in really handy to get the stuff they didn't figure in to the garage.

You are literally the only person I have ever heard say that. We have the choice at work cause we just have a regular cc. When I review my guys statements no one goes to HD unless we're working in a state without a Menards.

I usually shop Menards, but Home Depot had the flooring my wife liked.

I've got a menards and HD equal distances from me and my 1st pick is always HD as they are never that busy, have great people working there that help and stuff is so much easier to find. Menards always does their 11% deal but you have to send it in then go spend it there, a pain to get to and they have alot of crappy brands there.

Around here Menards is vastly superior to HD on pretty much everything. I'm sure this varies from location to location though.

Good to know about the 11%, thanks for the heads up!

Anyone know if hd is going to do this again for the current 11% sale? Have a bath to redo and would like that rebate.

Exactly the opposite here. I only go to Home Depot if only they have a brand or a specific item I wanted. Otherwise I go to Menards. I have spent $6,600 at Menards in 100 separate transactions in the past 12 months. (Does not include trips where I spent only rebate money.)

I do go to Home Depot more than I would like for small things as Home Depot is right on my way home and Menards is not. I really have nothing against Home Depot. Menards just has more building supply type materials plus they have a yard to pick up bulky items.

I bought a string trimmer from Depot about a month ago and they matched Menards 11% rebate. THEY DO NOT ADVERTISE IT ! I asked before I checked out. I just received a HD gift card from them for the rebate. :thumbup:

Damn, I'll have to try it at HomeDepot as just HATE the 11% rebate scam at Menards. I'm due around $130 back and haven't seen a thing in mail or verification in my email that Menards is giving me the "rebate"/AKA scam. It's been months and not a peep. :mad:

If Menards prices weren't already very competitive (generally the lowest), I'd skip going during "rebate week" as store is like a zoo. :eyecrazy:

they mail you a little postcard with the rebate. you sure you didnt throw it out by accident? lol
my dad and i have filled out many rebate forms and never had one not show up.

try calling corporate.

If you go to mycheapcouponsdotcom you can get a 10% off coupon at Lowes good to $5000, or you can get a $10 off $50 purchase. You will pay @1.50 - $2.00 for the coupon, I pay with my Pay-Pal account and print the coupon with my printer. The coupon will have a bar code and can only be used ! time at Lowes, now you can take that same coupon to Home Depot or Menards and use it again. Yes HD and Menards will give you the 10% even with the 11%. I've been doing this all summer for my new barn that I'm building and it has saved me a lot money.

If you get Menards to match the Lowe's 10% off during the rebate sale you are lucky. Most of the time the supervisor says they can't match Lowe's during the rebate sale. It works maybe a third of the time. Things that Menards has on sale don't get the 10% off match. If you look at your receipt the stuff that was on sale doesn't show the 10% off.

Back in May I signed up online for the free Lowe's 10% moving coupon. It takes a few days to arrive in your email. It is a printable coupon that is good for about five or six weeks. I printed a bunch of copies of the coupon and used half a dozen of them at Menards and Home Depot. I never used the coupon at Lowes since their prices are high and the store is not convenient for me.

Home Depot used to just give you a gift card on the spot to match the Menards 11%. Sometimes they even just gave you 11% off without a gift card. Maybe a year they started to require you to mail in your receipt and a rebate form to get a gift card via mail.

I used to prefer Home Depot during the Menards 11% sale since they gave the gift card on the spot. Now I just go to Menards and mail in the rebate.

no dice when i tried to use it at lowe's during menards 11% off sale a few months back. couldn't hurt to ask, but quickly got shot down. nice that HD will match it.

imho - menards>lowes>home depot
