Findings have been pretty miss for me recently. Good to see you guys are finding some really nice stuff. Made it to two sales early this morning. Was totally worth it. Actually passed on quite a few good deals as I just didn't need, have space or could transport (Ex. misc tool boxes WELDED together, needing quite a bit of help). $20 total spent. Every once in a while a blind squirrel finds the acorn.Just glad it finally stopped raining. No regrets?

Thanks guy.Never thought I would own one. Dumb luck on my part.
Jake, I would have bought that one as well, it can't be too bad internally?. I'm anxious to try it out on something.
Nine, hope you get that 3C, so were they trying to make a silent auction out of it?![]()
And BC, Nine and ZK, Great finds!!
Itinerant, you just ****.

Great scores!!!Really? I've never seen one in person yet. And you find one for less than $20.
We will have to talk more about the "actually passed on quite a few good deals''.....
You can always list the extras for sale here,Craigslist, or eBay. If word gets out that we don't actually need, want or have space for those tools, the women will buy more shoes and household goods.

... came across these twin blocks, model 397.19440.
The seller said his daughter bought him a "bigger" grinder so he was parting with them. He wanted $10 each which I gladly paid. The one on the right is missing the wheel flanges and neither had the quench tray but they're otherwise complete and run fine.

Round top CM block grinder. lot's of parts missing but runs great. (Damnit I have an extra guard but it's L.H!!) - $8:

119.5 lbs BAM!

I almost forgot this! This was from Stop 1. The larger knife is what I bought; It's a Schrade "Old Timer", and next to it is my daily carry knife for grunge work. Same model, smaller size. the new one looks NOS, certainly it's never been sharpened!

WOW, much suckage going on.Some nice finds this weekend guys, a little bit of everything.
It's been really slow for me of late but I hadn't given up, stopped at the swap meet this morning although Saturdays are usually dead and came across these twin blocks, model 397.19440.

On your Ampco hammer, what is the purpose of the dimples in the handle?

Last find of the weekend. A "poor mans" anvil for $15. A 12" slice of 12"x12"x3/4" I beam welded on a tripod stand. (32" high, a little less then 100 lbs)

Bought these at the San Jose Flea Market last week.
$10 for the pair.
I packed them in my carry-on, and sent them thru security.
I was kinda surprised they let me thru.

Finally getting around to posting pics of the C-clamps.
6" Jorgensens. Made is USA
As good as new.

Those are beautiful![]()
I think it's supposed to improve grip but mainly it just looks cool.
I've been hitting estate sales pretty hard the last month. Here's about a quarter of the stuff I've bought.
$15 for each Kennedy tool box
$5 for the stamps
$2 for Craftsman BE, Snapon f70a, fleet ratchets
$4 for the wrenches
$10 for all three Record vises
Hammers were $2 each
