Bosch jigsaws are the best. Use them in a pro environment everyday.
I prefer Porter- Cable when it comes to the router. Routers come in many shapes and sizes for different tasks. Depending on what you want to do a $100 router might not be enough.

This is exactly what I'd say except the Bosch Colt palm router.

Skil are made by Bosch and honestly, for around the house stuff or if you're a contractor who doesn't need a jigsaw often, the Skil might be everything you need. really would be best to know what you need to do to give you a better recommendation though.

Bosch has great routers. Not sure if they have under $100 router, you might want to consider searching on CL postings.

I would go with a Bosch jigsaw. I have a 1590 that is about 10 years old. They've revamped the line since then but haven't heard bad things about the new models.

If you're only going to be doing light edge profile work, it would be hard to beat a Bosch Colt 1 hp trim router with a 1/4" collet. You can a plunge base for it too.

For heavier tasks like cutting dadoes, I like my 2 1/4 hp Bosch variable speed router. I have the fixed base mounted in a router table insert and the plunge base for freehand work. This router has both 1/4" and 1/2" collets for plenty of versatility and plenty of power for household work.

Take a look at Amazon - they're having a $50 off $200 Bosch sale right now. That might allow you to get into better tools and still hit your $200 budget if you can do them at the same time.
