The battery charger cost me $20. Spent a total of $60 bucks. The roll front box is actually complete, appears to never have been used. The casters are in one of the drawers, as is the handle I thought was missing. It has not been repainted, it is white. She's firm on $200 though, I'm considering it.

Snap On (and other toolbox manufacturers) supplied boxes medical use. Those items never were listed in tool catalogs, since they were special order only. White is a common color for medical fixtures. ;)

Good day at the flea market, been a while since I had a free day to visit one. Here's the saves:

Pic 1: all for FREE
pair of Disston hole saws, with about 2 dozen new and used long blades for them, owner said "just get them outta here"

Pics 2-3: all for FREE
chunk of a lathe, unknown make and part number, forget the $10 marking on it, once again, FREE, went along with the hole saws

Pics 4-6: $13 for all
- Rosco "Two-Fister Mechanics Unbreakable screwdriver, lookit the handle!
- pair of nutdrivers, Vaco and a magnetic Xcelite
- Stanley 15-033 jab saw handle
- heavy wrench, 563D is the only thing on it, size is 7/8 on open end ???
- Bridgeport Line 7-inch slip-joint pliers
- Schrader 8159B air chuck
- bicycle wrench, made in England
- 4 regular sockets (2 Apex, 1 Craftsman and 1 Proto)
- 11 magnetic sockets (4 Butler, 3 Brown, 2 Apex, 1 Snap-On, and 1 Qual-Tool)

DTM, the lathe part is called a "follower rest" and is used to support a long, skinny part so it doesn't flex away from the tool bit. For instance, to thread a long rod you would position the jaws of the rest against the top and back side of the work, in line with the contact point of the tool bit. Your part looks like it might fit a South Bend or similar smaller lathe. Not a Craftsman/Atlas, as they had a dovetail slot instead of mounting holes. Your piece bolts to the side of the cross slide.

Nice score! :D

Is that the one near Wake Forest rd? It used to be hit and miss, I picked up some decent hand tools there from time to time.

High House Rd. In Cary. Used to get good deals there but now its largely overpriced foreign made junk. The person uses to charges buck per wrench screwdriver socket. Now its 3 times that or more and anything unusual goes for the highest price they can find on flea bay.

The problem is that someone does buy these things so the store keeps selling at inflated prices.

My local Restore fluctuates, I think it depends on who they have pricing things and how much they rely on ebay for reference. For the last 8 or 9 months their prices have been outrageous (like 3-5x as much as they used to be) but I stopped in today and noticed things were more reasonable and a number of items had been repriced for a quarter of what they had been asking. I found an old Stanley folding rule for $1.

NAPA cabinets, all 3 for $30. Not the best deal but I thought they were cool.

Finally! After a year and a half of looking out, got a Baldor 3/4 buffer..and it's on a stand. It looks ugly, but it was used for buffing plastics. It's in great condition- bearings etc. $75.

He did not have 2 though, the other was a burnt up Dayton, but did get a nice stand with the toast Dayton motor for another $20.

Oh yea, got a food pedal switch thrown in too.

Are you referring to the HFH Restore between the Bowling Ally and Autozone at HighHouse and Old Apex Rd in Cary?

I've gotten more responses over these cabinets than I have some of my bigger snap-on scores!! Maybe i was missing what y'all were looking for!

If it makes you feel better I would not have bought them, not space efficient at all. Very cool nevertheless.

Waggoner72 . . . . . those NAPA cabinets for $30 are a GREAT Score . . .
. . . . . .
. . . . . . . . that the SUCKAGE . . . (yeah, You **** !!)
. . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . is causing new sinkholes in Florida . .
. . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . AND . . . new mountain range to pop up in Arkansas !! :D

Please don't paint over the red/white cabinet as it's got great character just as it is. Clean up and use with it's antique patina.

For the little black one, I'd repaint that one NAPA blue, and keep the yellow logo.

It's been so busy lately, I forgot to post my finds lately, lol... In no particular order, because at this point, I forget...

Pretty cool old lamp for $5. Didn't even take dirty pics, cleaned and rewired it while watching the Eagles on Sunday. The rewired it again Monday after I realized the switch was bad...

Killer clamp, and the Stanley brace is mint, with bits.

Friend of mine who sells kiddie stuff on the weekends at the flea markets spotted and picked this up for me.

Randomness found while wondering with Mavawreck... in the bag is about 1/2 of a 192 piece CMan set, lol.

My finds from last Saturday.... paid slightly higher than a fair clip, but well worth it, not letting the index go, lol.

This old guy dwarfs the Delta Homecraft he is replacing. $25 off Craigs. Anyone with the scoop on these? Similar internals to the King Seeley 150?

Jeez guys! Where I live we have usually have three seasons cold, hunting season and summer(usually one warm day in July). If I find a garage sale around me they don't seem to have many deals on tools and what not. CL is pretty good but again its hit or miss. Lately more misses than hits.:headscrat

There's a few items not pictured, odds and ends that will get passed onto other folks.

Nice machine, good condition and price too. It's from the early to mid 40's. 14 or 15" machine IIRC. A nice bench drill press.

Thanks guys.
Head on shot as requested. I believe 14" (measure to the post and double?) Could be 13 as it measures like 6.5". 1942-43.
Included in the shot are two indexes I picked up recently, as the cool cast one above is getting everyone hot and bothered, although mine are not as cool. And the tap chart in the background for a dollar.

Squashfest, what's the model No. prefix on the DP? 101 or 103? Its' either the end of the Atlas DP's or the start of the KS run (interrupted by WWII...) I can't remember which did that one...

DP prefix is 103, so King Seeley. I've read they were made only 1942-43 with production halting for the war, as stated by Outlaw. KS started back in with DP's in 46-47 with the round front gold/grey style 150. Similar machine as the late 40's with just a different look? Anyone know?
