That box should have ISO Ride casters on it. Maybe that's why they dont have any dirt. They were swapped out for generic wheels.

My dealer bought several of those at a convention. He was selling them with the better casters for $3500 CDN brand new.

Nice box regardless.

Nope, those are the correct Casters for a 722...a 7022 would have the ISO Casters.

carterbeauford - Is that silver trim or Titanium trim? I've got the same box with titanium trim. It was a promo box from SFC 2012...lots of them out & about which can be had for smokin deals..The decal came shipped IN the box not applied to the drawer face...

must be titanium, I didn't know there was more than one trim. it had that exact same decal on it, took it off with a heat gun, looks better all black IMO.

Well done. I was reading this about to say SKIP the KRA. Real pieces of **** for the price. I owned one. Slightly better than a Craftsman. With your budget you could get a real nice KRL if you took a little time and sure looks like that is how it played out. Life is a lot easier for people with some brains. Sad so many people overpay for these things. Some can't wrap their minds around the fact the a dealer may drop the price from 7k to 5k, but it still does not make it a good price when all it is is just a few dozen pieces of sheet metal, some bearings and 4 casters. As for boxes I see listed, 80% of the sellers are living in dream world with what they think their "investment" is worth. You even see it every day here. Some member bragging how they got a "great" deal from the SO man, blah blah blah, when they still paid thousands more than what buying a good used box off a realistic seller on CL would have cost. Again, just because your dealer sold you a $7,800 MSRP box for $4,800 does not make it a good deal, just $3,000 less overpriced.

Is it paid for? If the guy was about to lose his house I would be worried about him still owing SO for the box.

don't know how that works, I gave him $2K cash for it and that was it. if the SO guy wants to repossess it, good luck finding me, bought it 100 miles away in another state. mine now

My Matco guy claims he has 80% profit margin on his boxes at list. Not markup, PROFIT MARGIN.

I doubt that. When I sold Matco, the mark up on boxes and Matco tools was 40%. I had a friend who was Snap On and then Matco, and Snap On had the same mark up.
