I found this http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0042KOK28/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER which seems to be the same set that my supervisor has... His is Mac brand but they look pretty identical.
If you get the chance, grab the MAC # off of his. Drives me crazy trying to navigate their website.

Oh, i just noticed. The snappy have a ball end. The ones above do not.

Probably just have to do some digging to find the same ball end set.
EDIT: Found it, Eklind 13609

Just updated the Snap-On listing with a Hex and Torx Key section for all the Eklind crossovers I dug up. There appear to be more, but can only stare at hex keys for so long...
Thanks for the lead "rancherbill", and everyone else.

^^ Thank you for the work, brother!!!

Glad to do it.

Haven't had a lot of free time lately with working 10s and my truck deciding to spit a few pinion teeth out of my rear axle cover (I HATE sterling axles), so it always feels good to get back to updating here.

Blow molding on the case is different in the lower left hand corner, not that means anything....

I spotted that as well, don't know if it has to do with a stock photo, or if there is a real difference. Need to find out the COO of the Cal Van set, since the Blue Point is USA, and Blue Point = Rebrand.

Cornwell and Matco impact wrenches are the same as NAPA's. of note I always negotiate price lower than the adds or shelf sticker. I picked up the NAPA for $162 and then put the Matco cover on it.

http://www.propowerseries.com/products.html

Yes! Thank you for the link, couldn't find much through NAPA or Carlyle sites. I had seen previously that the NAPA impacts were the same as the Professional Tool Products made air tools sold by Matco & Cornwell.

Finally, part numbers!:rocker:

Wanted to throw this out there:
Feel free to contact the mods if you want to see this thread replace the original "Tool Truck Equivalents" thread as a sticky. I sent a request a while back, but didn't get a response (It's damn busy around here). I know there are plenty of folks in with the mods more than I am.

I'm still regularly updating this thread, so it would be nice to get it as the sticky over the old dead thread. Not looking forward to the 'drive by posters' or some of the Snappy diehards it may bring, but so be it...

Alright, so who's making the Snap-On swivel heads/roto heads?

FHNF100 appears to be the regular (or long?) 3/8"
FHCNH72 appears to be stubby 3/8" (I think?)

They must have 1/4" and 1/2" versions too? but that's all a search for "swivel head" brought up

Also I searched this thread but didn't see it: I always thought the Snap-On conical pitman arm pullers were OTC? I think the CJ119B is the OTC 8150? Although there's also a CJ115 which is smaller but a lot more $, not sure if this is OTC?

Apologies if it's here & the search engine just *****. I got no hits for "pitman" or "CJ119B"

Also I think some if not most of the BluePoint blow guns are Vacula. For instance the YA1050B is some iteration of the Vacula 72-020-0861. Most Vaculas now seem to be listed w a rubber tip (this is sorta recent) but the BluePoint COO is still listed as Sweden. How many blow guns use identical looking plastic molds and are coming out of Sweden??

I'm sorry I don't have time to research the extra long blow guns; referencing all this on my phone *****.

Snap on is making them. Along with all of their other hard line tools.

Well, looks like the amount of Matco Rebrands is so vast, I need to reorganize the pages.:scared: Got a message as I was trying to add some more stuff that the Matco post would be over 10K characters, which I guess is the limit.

Might have to shorten the introductory post and move Snap-On to that, and start a second page of Matco crossovers. I'll try and figure the best method to reorganize. Not going to update with some new 3.0 thread until all the pages are too crammed to add anymore.

I didn't see it but is there a socket set listed? IE 1/2 drive Metric from 10mm to say 25mm?
For which brand?

There is a good amount of crossover, but I noticed with a lot of the brands they offer the socket sets with one more/less socket so there isn't a direct crossover.

I do believe Snappy makes them in house, as they're the only USA made Roto-Ratchet in current production (Until SK brings them back) IIRC.

Mayhew cable operated hose clamp pliers are made in France that is or was anyways who is supplying sears with there's. Snap ons I am guessing are made by one of there European owned companies. They definitely different, I have those newer snap ons and they are much more redesigned over those older mayhew originals. I had those once upon a time too.
