Anyone have experience with this Husky chest?

I've been going back and forth and it seems the general consensus throughout the years has been US General > Husky. Last weekend I went out and tested out two of the same 41 Husky chests in different stores and one 44 US General chest.

The Husky felt great to me, but obviously no weight on the drawers. Tried searching and searching on here and mainly everyone talks about the cheaper 41 Husky chest...so I was wondering if anyone had checked this model out and how they liked it before I pull the trigger on the US General. Also checked out the 52 Husky and it actually felt worse, the pull on the drawers was completely different and felt flimsy to me. Hoping maybe its a newer model as all the reviews are from this year, maybe things got better.

Buy the HF 44" and don't look back. It is the strongest built out of all the low end boxes. Look at the reviews a guy on here did if you have any doubts and that should put them to rest as well. I own one and picked it for that reason. 2 years old, loaded heavy gets hard use, works perfect.

Idk about you but the top drawer on the bottom box is like only two inches tall. Sorry jut they lost me on that one. Plus the quality is far better on the hf 44. You won't regret the hf44.

I've had my Husky chest for 15 years now, and I'm still very happy with it. Drawers are smooth, nothing has broken. I'm careful however, and don't abuse it.

This would be the only type of "Husky chest" that interests me.

The HF44" setup is better built, more storage and just a bit more than that combo.

In the recent years the med size Husky boxes have taken a nosedive in quality.

Dang , never realized I was that in to thicker girls :eyecrazy:

Anyhow, my friend has the version that above replaced, got it on clearance last month for something like 180, no joke. All that's changed was the lid. Drawers slide fine but just don't give you same diesel feel HF pro does.

It's a good box, but if I were paying 400+ I'd go with HF , which is what I have.
