Just for this clamp on vise made by Irwin
For 5.99 at Home Depot. It seems that
Every Irwin vise grip is on clearance and
Lots of empty spaces.

Yea this happened a while back. Must have been a return.. Home Depot picked up Bessy instead of Irwin, and Lowes went with Irwin and got rid of Bessy. If there's anything you want or need in lowes you can bring it there now and return it for store credit w/o a receipt if you were so inclined (for full price).. Don't think it was that expensive to begin with though.. I bought a 4" Bessy at Lowes for like $9 and Bessy corner clamps for like $2 each a few months ago..

Kctyphoon it was 29.99 originally, package was still sealed and was one of the last few Irwin products there that was left from clearance.

Yea so if NEEDED to, u can return it to Lowes now, since they carry that. Just say u don't have the receipt, or u got it as a gift, and they will give you a store credit for the $30 if that what they sell it for. I was tempted to do it myself but just decided to keep everything I bought..

Btw, anyone check out the new Milwaukee vise grips for sale at HD.. things are amazing.. The big red thing at the end of the treaded tensioner is meant so you can use a flathead as a leverage bar to torque don't the clamp even after its closed, or slowly let pressure off.. The Irvin's used an Allen key.. milwaukee's look much better.

I gave one similar to that to my nephew while he was finishing college, he needed mobile and go-anywhere use. It served him well and still does.

My main use vise is also quite small but screwed to a corner of my little worktable. Over a decade and that little Asain wonder has not broke yet. Not a prestige piece by far but useful and always a solid tool, good enough for my home needs.
