Does anyone have one of these boxes? http://www.sears.com/craftsman-edge...02000-CoreTools-activeusers&redirectType=SRDT

I'm trying to figure out whether it's standing height specs listed on their webpage represents the vertical height of the box itself, or it's standing height when it's mounted on it's casters.

I'm shopping for a box I can stuff inside a cabinet on a knapheide service body on my service truck. I will be removing the casters from whatever box I choose. I need to know the height of the box, after the casters have been removed.

Those boxes were recently on sale for 50% off, I started a thread about it. I know a couple guys bought them, and posted on here. Maybe try changing the thread title if you don't get a response, also they are the same as the heavy duty premium line and as such you could go to your local Sears and measure that one. The edge series just includes some trim.

The one I'm considering isn't available in store, so I can't measure it directly.

I have considered the possibility of measuring several that are in store, and comparing to their online specs. If they are (assumption here) consistent about their specs, that would at least allow me to see if they typically include the casters in the vertical height dimension.

The non-edge series is in store that was what I was getting at

Plus or minus 41" tall with caster. Perfect toolbox height in my opinion.

That would seem to indicate the casters are included in the height figure in the specifications. They called for 40.75 inches height.

Casters are included. It should roll under something 41" off the ground. 36" would be a safe measurement for casters removed.
