So what are you using in place of closets? I'd think closets would be cheap and make resale easier, you're already catering to a special subset of people with the build.
1. Curious why no exits @ the rear of the building? For future pool / hot dub party?
So are the roof metal beams going to show, or are you hiding with the sheet rock in the office? Going to have some sore body parts if you are doing the rock yourself![]()
love it! awesome building!!![]()
I really like this idea. The wife and I are looking for our first house so I showed this to her and she promptly shot it down. Apparently she cares what the outside looks like lol

I assume the coop would not bury the electrical or if they did it would be very expensive?
I am liking Texas more and more...why Texas is so under rated is beyond me!
I would love to live in a place like that...hope termites are'nt a issue where you are.
The inside could be a feast!
Any chance additional subscribers will take electricity of of the line that you paid for? If so, you may be able to get back some of your investment. I know that some COOPs have this kind of policy.
What size are your tanks and who did you buy from? thanks
I plan to do something similar but 40X80
Suuuuuuuuuuuubscribed!!!!

Funny....The people in Texas wonder why anyone would live in Chicago?
As long as you "see red" you are welcome in Texas.
Not sure how I missed this build but am now watching. And if you see a couple of red peterbilts hauling water give us a wave..
This is an awesome build. It's good to see the family involved! I hope one day I can convince mine to get out of suburbia hell! Keep it up! I enjoy this thread.
Weird... You know this website is ran from Dripping Springs, right? I see your 996 out and about all the time. Next time you see a macadamia 997 C4S or a ****** old '64 F100 putting around, give a wave...

A very interesting build Moiro! So a dumb question here but with all this talk of tanks and water delivery, I'm assuming well water is not an option due to the arid climate? I think every house (and we're swimming in water here) should have a grey water recovery system as well as rain water collection system. So the 15000 gallon tanks will be used for domestic supply? How long would you predict that would last with your family?
It's really interesting to see how we all have our location specific challenges. We are inundated with fresh water everywhere here...but it's frozen solid for 5 months of the year. Ha.
. Well water is an option but my wife just couldn't handle drilling into our land. .
