Do you remember that Milwaukee M12 drill, impact driver, and free XC 3.0A battery deal that I posted about last month? The price yo-yoed between $129 and $169 a few times.

Well, that special bundle has just dropped in price to $99. You can still buy it online, but only with in-store pickup as an option. Hopefully it will be available for home delivery again, but that seems unlikely. continued...

Great deal with the extra battery .
Wondering to see what they will do on Black Friday before I buy another.

Nice deal. I'd really like the brushless ones, but I can't justify the cost for DIY stuff. In for one. Thanks for the heads up.

Is this available in store for the same price? If so, you could use a Lowes coupon if Anyone still has one.

Saw that this morning and jumped on it - now waiting for a text from my local HD that it's ready to pickup. Also added a bare right angle drill that comes with a free battery. I too would have liked the brushless models but couldn't justify the extra cost for DIY work.

I'm sure they can adjust the price for you just bring your receipt in...I've done it before on 300 fence boards

Does HD have a price match policy? I am out of town until Wednesday and this is a one day sale. I would be happy to take the $30 in merchandise :)

Wow I don't need any of this but likely can't resist at $99

edit: will they match a Lowe's 10% coupon on this?

Yes my local store will take the coupons, wish they took harbor freight coupons though.

This is a steal for that price. I wish I had a Northern Tool $20 off $100 coupon on hand right now. My store doesn't take HF coupons, but will take Northern coupons.

Yeah, I bought one of the Ridgid tool boxes and they took it but I wasn't sure if there were exemptions on Special Buys or particular sales. I also figured they'd argue Lowe's doesn't carry Ridgid (or Milwaukee for that matter) but they didn't.

Sign up with them online, it usually takes a few days and you will be emailed 10% off.
Also you can Browse on google, I find them there time to time .

Interesting... I've tried their online sign up before and never received anything.

Hmmm, my store had 20 this morning now it's showing 'limted quantity'. Guess I'll need to check in person.

I had the same problem when I bought this kit a week ago and had it shipped to the store. Spent about a half hour trying to convince the lady at the counter that there should in fact be three total batteries in the kit she finally took one of the shelf and gave it to me.

When I was in the store last night I noticed that there are now kits with the free battery included and it plainly says so on the box. Double check this when picking these up in store.

Really wish I would have waited a few more days to buy this. Would go back for a price adjustment but after the hassle I went through just to get the extra battery to begin with I'll just be happy with the $129 price. Still think I got a good deal, these things are a damn nice, puts my Craftsman C3 to shame.

On the item page it says it is in stock at my local store, but when I add it to the cart and checkout it says limited quantities. Guess I need to go in person?

I wish I didn't see this. Says "limited quantity" too, but I might stop by just for the heck of it. I'm happy with my Ryobi, but having an extra drill/impact in the garage would be nice :)

Just dealt with the extra battery issue at my store.

There are two different versions of the set, one with the 3rd XC battery in the box, one without. Both have the EXACT same SKU number, and are the exact same size (just one has a picture of the XC battery on the front). When the order goes into the Home Depot system, it doesn't say anything about the free battery deal, so they just grab the standard box that they have a ton of.

Easily worked out when it's made clear what's going on.

Just went through this at my HD and indeed I received the old box without the extra battery. Make sure your box is clearly marked with the free xr battery!

Picked mine up on the way home from work. No issues--all 3 batteries. There's a white stripe printed on the side of the box saying free battery inside. The marking is obvious and you can't miss it.

Just got back from picking a set up. In store they still had probably 15 or so, marked $129 on the shelf but rang up for $99. Was in the front of the store in the temp/seasonal display. Box says extra battery is inside.

Just picked up 2 sets (one for my dad as a christmas gift) for a total of $170 after tax. My boxes had the free batteries in there and they honored a 20% HF coupon. An hour before I left my house, it said the store had 20 in stock... when I got there, there was only 4 left. As I was adding my 2 to my cart, an employee was grabbing one for himself to put in the backroom for when his shift ends. It was still marked $129 at my store. This price is only good for today, so if you are interested, I would go to the store to see if they have any in stock.

Yeah, I had the same issue. Showed 13 in stock at one local store, 23 in stock at another, 17 in stock at a third; when I tried to check out it starts changing everything to "The stores you chose for some items do not have enough inventory to fulfill your order."

I could have stopped by one and seen if they had them, but frankly this would have been kind of an impulse purchase for me, so perhaps it's for the best.

Thanks went and purchased it in store. They had a lot left, tag said 129 but rang up for 99. Was also showing in stock online until I checked out. Guess they want you to go in store.

Does the $99 3/8 m12 ratchet work with these batteries? Or are those for fuel only?

Just got home from picking up the last one at my store. Pretty much an impulse purchase thanks to this thread since I really don't need. I already have a large collection of lithium powered Craftsman C3 and Nextec tools that I've been very happy with. I rationalized this purchase by the fact that these are very compact in my hand, even more so than my Craftsman C3 "compact" drill!

BTW, I don't know if this has been said already, but I noticed while at the store that the box with the extra battery has a "B" at the end of the item number and the box without the extra battery doesn't. I'm guessing the "B" stands for extra battery.

Im starting to hate this forum! lol. Luckily for my wallet I just saw this and ran by the store and they didn't have any. I've already bought three snap on ratchets this week after looking at way too many tool threads on here and having way too much time to scour ebay

I already have the M12 Fuel impact driver, so I'd part with the non-Fuel tool only from this kit for a good deal if someone wants one but doesn't want this full kit.
