How Old Is This Vise

I picked up this vise from a garage sale. It has no markings that I can find. It has a leg that extends down about three feet that is clamped to the bench for extra stability. I would guess it is pretty old. Does anybody know who made it and how old it is?
Well need more info and or find makers mark or numbers , it appears to be a blacksmiths leg vice, ( The leg down to the floor allows harder hits on what ever is in the vise. I will look around in my files see who made them in green though .... if it says PEXTO on it anywhere and your not in need of it.....:}

RedMed: Blacksmith vise and a nice looking one too. more information if you can tell us if there is a maker's mark, width across the top of the jaws, total weight. guessing over 100 years old and maybe 150, but probably closer to the early 1900's.
by the way how does it open and close? it might need some grease on at least the screw if you are planning on using it.

The jaw width is 3.75".
It is 47" from top of jaw to bottom of the leg.
Found a 35 (or possible 36) stamped on the front of the jaw.
The leg has a stop or upside down cup two inches from the bottom. I had thought that the leg was made to be clamped to bench but now I see that the leg was supposed to fit into a hole not only for stability (left & Right, forward & rear) but also to allow hits.
I have been using it, it opens and closes freely, but just now put some grease into the screw. I almost didn't buy it because of it's size, now it is becoming more interesting the more I find out about it.
Where would I look for mark's?
