late 80's black and decker industrial 71/4 super sawcat 13 amp model 2694. heavy but the best saw i ever owned.dropped from 40some feet bounced twice and all i had to do before i started useing it was straighten the edge of the base. still have it just ordered parts for it but i would like another one.if anyone knows of one let me know. thanks

When Dewalt reintroduced itself to the market, their first saws were the same as the sawcats., You might be able to find one of those.
Those sawcats did hold up. The company I work for still has at least three still in use.
Most guys in the company hated those saws, myself included, but they took a beating.

I've been flying a Mikita since, a little lighter, and plenty tough

Had a Super Saw cat, it was a great strong well built saw. Don't think they made them for too long.
